Staff Development

Students using technologyFaculty and Staff
You are invited to register for the Model Schools technology workshops. This session, we continue to offer a wide variety of Model School workshops, all of which are hosted by teachers and staff within our very own district!

Registration
Classes are on a first-come, first-serve basis. The number of participants in each class is limited.

To register you must

  1. Complete a registration form for each class you would like to take.
  2. Return your registration form(s) to your building administrator for approval. You will receive confirmation of your reservation and will be notified if you are on a waiting list.

Payment for In Service
We understand that you may want to take a course a second time to attempt to gain additional information, however, we will not be able to pay you for attendance at a course that is an exact duplicate of one you have taken previously. Courses that have been duplicated in the past have been highlighted as repeat next to the title. Please contact Jen Conrad if you are unsure of whether or not you have already taken a course.

Special Note
We are implementing a new procedure in regard to payment for in-service; only those courses that are directly related to licensure or job description will be compensated. To facilitate this process, a suggested audience will be included with each course description.
All course requests will be reviewed by the central office before reimbursement takes place. Notification will be given prior to the course date as to whether payment will or will not take place. All staff members are still encouraged to audit any class depending on space available.

Cancellation
Please notify Technology Services if you will not be able to attend a class that you have registered for, as this may free a seat up for someone on the waiting list.
