Students and staff made 16 apple pies 15 pumpkin pies as well as beautiful center pieces and place-mats made by a variety of Coxsackie- Athens student organizations and classes. A special thank you to Ms. Ulion and Mrs. Edwards for organizing the effort!
The Student Council collect $415.00 through their "Feed Seven Families" campaign. They purchased $287 worth of turkeys and donated the balance to the Christmas Fund at Hope's Mission. Thanks to all who donated and helped collect and Happy Thanksgiving.
During the lab students noted physical and chemical changes by mixing Calcium Chloride, Baking Soda, Water and Bromothymol Blue. What changes were observable? A color change, a release of heat and the creation of a gas. Many thanks to Mrs. DeRose!

Members: Vice-president Samantha Johnson, Samantha Karlsson, Katalina Burnell, Sam Draiss, Kezia Decker, Dana McGibbon, Jayson Riley, and President Zarib Alam display some of the food collected. Seven selected families will be given a turkey, two boxes of canned and boxed food, fresh fruits and vegetables, breads, pies, candy, whipped cream, butter and more. The C-A middle school has again proven "charity should begin at home" through their outpouring of donated items and money. Also participating are the Coxsackie Stewart Shop and Black Horse Farms.

Students gathered in the MS Library during 9th period on Tuesday to watch the anti-bullying movies "Mean Stinks" and "The Kindness Boomerang". They also discussed ways to make the MS a bully free zone.
To be on the High Honor List students must earn an average of 90% or better and have no grade below 75%. To be on the Honor List students must earn an average of 85% or better with no grade below a 75%. We are very proud of all our students. Keep up the good work!
