Mr. Hughes's 8th grade social studies class ended their unit on the 1960's in style. Students researched a favorite 1960's topic and presented to their fellow students. Many students dressed the part to help demonstrate many of the social and political trends of the era.

Ms. Kardas, a high school science teacher, borrowed and explained the space rocks that have traveled thousands of miles to be in Coxsackie. Students were able to get up close and personal with a small piece of the space they've been studying.

5th grade students in Ms. Roberg’s science class were given the opportunity to pick a research topic related to the study of space. After carefully choosing their topics students used books, databases and Internet sources to answer essential questions related to their topics. After extensive research they prepared presentations to be shared with their classmates.
