The evaluation plans for our teachers and principals measure performance, recognize outstanding work, and provide focused and ongoing professional development and support.
Teachers and principals are evaluated based on a clear set of criteria. Rubrics are used to provide a clear set of expectations for daily performance (60%). In addition to being evaluated on how one leads a classroom or building, student performance (40%) is also measured to ensure inputs truly have a positive impact on student learning.
Research and actual best practices have shown schools with highly effective teachers and principals close achievement gaps and prepare all students for college and careers.
