Regarding the January Regents & RCT Exams
at C-A High School
◘
**This
morning (Jan 18, 2012), an empty bullet shell was found by a student in a high school
classroom who then notified the school office. The school’s lockdown
procedures were activated. The school called the Coxsackie police. The
state police were also dispatched to the school. The state police
conducted a search of the building and authorized the school to resume
to its regular schedule.
The students and staff should be commended for their cooperation during
this incident. These precautionary steps were taken to ensure the
safety of all students and staff. The school reminds all students
and parents that the possession of firearms, knives and ammunition is
strictly prohibited on school grounds. Any questions should be
